Each class has three sessions: Monday 6:00pm to 8:30pm, Wednesday 6:00pm to 8:30pm, Saturday 9:00am to 5:00pm. Student must attend all thress sessions.

Intermediate Archery Classes
Intermediate and advanced archery classes are being held on Saturdays from 8:30am ~ 10:30am starting on November 24th. The classes for boys and girls, ages 10 to 18, and are taught by members of the Junior Olympic Archery Development (JOAD) Program. Explorer’s is a program for high school age young men and women that have an interest in Law Enforcement. The program is run similar to a State Police Academy and last almost the entire school year. Participating Explorer’s have the opportunity to attend either the Kiwanas/State Police or the American Legion/State Police Law Enforcement Academy’s. NRA Range Safety Course - From Safe2Carry.
There will be an NRA Range Safety Course taught on March 13, 2010 in the shoot building at the Rockford Sportsman's Club. This is a one day course. Start time is 8:30 AM. Cost is $100 including materials. Registration fees with the NRA for candidates that pass are the responsibility of the student. A Range Safety Officer patch will be supplied to all who successfully complete the course. Seating is limited to 15. Register with Terry Stuart at Safe2Carry.com to receive an enrollment form. This is a non-shooting course. All members involved in the shooting sports are encouraged to attend.

2010 Safe2Carry CPL (formally known as CCW) Classes
There is a concealed pistol class being planned for Monday, February 22nd from 6:30-9 PM and Saturday, February 27th from 8:30 AM ~ 4 PM. This class qualifies a person to obtain a concealed pistol license formally known as a CCW permit. Advance registration is necessary. If interested contact Terry Stuart at tdstuart@charter.net or 616-887-9917 to register. Cost for the class is $100. You do not have to be a club member to take this class. Both sessions are going to be held at the Rockford Sportsman’s Club. You must attend both classes to obtain a permit. If you do not have a handgun yet there will be several rental guns available.
